The Establishment and kick-off of the Estonian Bioindustry and Bioengineering Association.

The kick-off meeting of the Estonian Bioindustry and Bioengineering Association was established. The Management Board members are Mart Loog, Ilona Faustova, Tilt Lukk. The non-profit association is represented by Ilona Faustova alone or by all Members of the Management Board jointly.

On the 21st of August 2023, the kick-off meeting of the Estonian Bioindustry and Bioengineering Association was held in Saaremaa, Estonia. Representatives of the University of Tartu, Taltech, and Biotech Industry participated. 

The foundation the non-profit association marks the new benchmark in academia-biotech industry cooperation in Estonia. The founded organisations aims to ease the transition of innovations developed in universities to industry for scale-up and commercialisation.
