The Estonian Centre for Synthetic Biology initiated a strategic collaboration project between University of Tartu and Graanul Invest AS – an Estonian company receiving €20.96 million from EU Bio-Based Industries initiative program to set up a demo factory on producing biomass-derived sugars. The main coordinator of the collaboration program from the CelESTial side is prof. Mart Loog.
